DDG displays zero-click color swatches when searching for hex color codes. It would be cool if DDG also displayed color names (and vice versa: hex color codes for color name searches).
Chirag Mehta has collated 1500+ color name/hex mappings from a variety of sources. He has written a JavaScript library ("Name That Color") that contains the name/hex data and a JavaScript interface. The name/hex data could be extracted for DDG server-side use.
For example, the DDG Goodies page links to a color swatch for #368798. Name That Color reports #368798 as the color "Astral".
One of the top results returned for "Adobe Systems" is adobesystems.com, NOT the official Adobe website. From what I can tell, adobesystems.com used to be a phishing website that (according to whois) has been seized by the real Adobe Systems (to prevent further phishing).
Searching DDG for "adobesystems.com" returns results that are almost exclusively other spam and phishing websites that should probably be filtered.
Clicking on the following link from DDG's own "Goodies" page brings up zero-click info from the Star Trek Memory Alpha wiki. However, the quoted text seems to omit the link text from the actual Memory Alpha page.
2. Displays this incorrect zero-click info:
While mapping beyond previously charted space, the encountered Balok's cube, a First Federation warning buoy.
1. DuckDuckGo's URL params page is missing the param name for HTTPS. I am guessing that param name should say kh. The web page just says:
HTTPS: 1 = on; -1 for off.
2. Also, I don't know if this is a bug, but the kh=1 parameter only seems to apply to searches from that page, not the results on that page. For example, if you click or open the following URL, the Wikipedia category links to en.wikipedia.org, not secure.wikimedia.org. If you click the Search button from this page, then the Wikipedia category links to secure.wikimedia.org.
