Ok, a little confused. I just read the latest Cyanide & Happiness: http://www.explosm.net/comics/2472/
I decided to see if BBG actually meant anything so DDG'd it. The first result was for the BBC, no "did you mean" and it even highlighted (put in bold) the letters "BBC" in the description text. Is this a bug? I thought DuckDuck wasn't meant to push users towards results...?

Hmm I'm not seeing that at https://duckduckgo.com/?q=BBG or https://duckduckgo.com/?q=bbg

But in general, there is a small bug here that could show the first link as something other, which we are working to resolve but it is complicated so taking some time.

Apologies, haven't been near a computer to reply and Zoho doesn't seem to play nice with my Android phone.

I'm using UK and secure options:

I just noticed this has been marked "solved": I'm still getting the BBC as the first link using UK and secure options without any "did you mean?". So I wouldn't really say this is "solved" yet.

Ahh, yes now I can reproduce :). This is due to a known issue where the first link can be different than what you type in. You'll see after that it is mainly bbg stuff.

This bug really annoys me personally and we are actively working on it! But not sure on ETA as it involves a number of moving pieces.
