I love this new feature! So i think you should be able to change the color of the outlines to match your theme even more. I would love it if you could, it would make the overall design look even cleaner.

That's a good idea -- would you match the highlight color or the header color though?

thats what i would probably do, or just make other colors like the ones for the URL color or whatever, i just think there should be a color for each theme.
