I just sent the pt_BR translation by the new translation interface.
It can be used as soon the Duck Team sees it fits, but DDG need some token adjustment for Portuguese peculiarities as the following:
we don't *track* = Nós não *rastreamos*
don't *track* us = Não nos *rastreie*
We have different words in different contexts, but DDG has only one in the token list.
Same for bubble (translated as "isolamos", for the lack of the same literal meaning of the word bubble in this context)
Also, there are some gender differences that doesn't make sense in english, but here we translate
Result from Wikipedia = Resultado da Wikipedia (female, as "enciclopedia" is female here also )
Result from Google = Resultado do Google (male, as stated on pt_BR Google documentation, as "engine" is male in portuguese. notably pt_PT documentation use the female version, as "company" is female in portuguese)
Some things weren't translated literally also, as ZIP code. ZIP makes no sense to brazilian people. Here we use CEP as our postal code. The translation became "código postal"="postal code", because international ZIP code is not treated neither as CEP (only used in national codes) and ZIP itself has no meaning.
I'll dive further in this subject later.
