You have to be really careful about how you mention google. People use google many times a day and see everyone around them do the same, and it is working for them well enough. In such a case, when you're perceived as telling them "you're doing it wrong, here, use my product instead" or even just as "you're doing it wrong", they get defensive.
I suggest saying "DuckDuckGo is a search engine, like Google, or Bing" - mentioning another well known alternative shows people that they have many choices, which guides them away from thinking you're telling them "you're doing it wrong".
Similarly, I suggest saying "DuckDuckGo does not track you, like Google and most other search engines do". Google isn't the only one misbehaving like that.
A fun idea: encourage viewers to type the word "privacy" into their current favourite search engine, and compare that to a DDG search for the same word, then say "DuckDuckGo understands privacy". (I just tried that search on Google and Bing, and was not impressed)
I think the message of the video as a whole should be "DuckDuckGo works very well and is fun to use", not "Google is bad, so switch to DuckDuckGo which has some nice features too". You don't want to be the search engine just for people who hate Google, there are many more potential users out there who (sadly) are not bothered by privacy issues but who do want relevant search results.
