I think this is a great idea in general, as shown in that other thread, which I just made sticky.

Not really a fan of changing logos. The old rule was repetition helped solidify a brand. If changing it helps with the viral aspect, then I’m all for getting DDG better known. However, if changing to parody logos helps little, then I say stick with the old rule.

I sort of agree with Jack, common holidays for me is the "global capitalism" ones, that would make the trick.

I like the hat, bells and holly. The beard is a little flat, in my opinion. I was trying to do this sort of thing too, but the beard is really tough. Maybe the hat is a tad bit squished. Could you remove the bells? There nice, but if theres to much on the logo its hard to see and it looks fussy. All around nice job!
