When using DDG with Konqueror, it appears to have Javascript problems.

For one, enabling the built-in JS debugger brings up many different errors. I can print these if it would help.

Two, once you search for something, clicking on a link doesn't work; I need to open it in a new tab for it to work. IE the redirect appears to be broken.

I'm using the Konqueror KDE SC 4.6 beta, so it might be a problem with Konqueror. Can anyone verify this using an older version of KDE?

I did not notice any problem when using DDG, but when loading the homepage in Firefox 3.6 with Firebug enabled I get some JavaScript errors too (the first one is: e.fn.call is not a function).

I just tried to replicate these errors, and am not seeing any. Are you sure these are related to DDG?

The first error is on page landing, it comes up with:

http://duckduckgo.com/d353.js line 0:

TypeError: Attempt to use a non-function object or a value as a function

When I tried to debug this error, Konqueror gave me problems (like it was in an infinite loop of some kind. I'm unsure if this is related to DDG or the fact that I'm running a beta) so I didn't do it.

The same error appears thrice more:

Once right after the first time.

Twice after I searched for something (in this case, my test search was "World Cup 2010").

Whenever I try to click on any link from within DDG, it doesn't work (there's no redirect, or however you want to term it). However, if I right-click and open it in a new tab, it works. After those initial errors, there aren't any more JS-related errors that the debugger detects immediately.

Pulled up Konqueror (Fedora 14) and I also got the error.

Front page and I get this twice:

Searching for something brings this up 3 times. Also can't debug it. No problem opening results though.

I only get the error when I enable the debugger. Disabled and it works fine.

Also get this strange error (debugger on or off):

Have to refresh the page for it to "un-stick".

These errors don't occur in other browsers, so I think this might be a Konqueror/KHTML bug.

Even Rekonq doesn't have the issue; it works just fine. It's webkit-based, though. It seems to be Konqueror-specific. I'll report the bug to KDE if we can confirm that this is Konqueror.
