I know we are in the middle of the month (and we have missed the Tolkien birthday

), Anyway, here are some logos idea for the end of the month

Molière (January 15, 1622)

Olivier Hardy (January 18, 1892)

Edouard Manet (January 23, 1832)

Franklin D. Roosevelt (January 30, 1882)

What do you think?

EDIT : The redesign has a new logo, so I redesigned my logos :)

Looks Nice!

Although the Franklin D. Roosevelt one looks like he is waving a backwards flag. Other than that awesome job.

I thought the eyes were a little hard to see in your version. I just copied it and made the duck a lighter brown in GIMP. (Never attempted logo designs before). Being around the second or third time of using GIMP I couldn't figure out how to make the background transparent. (Feeling adventurous today!)

Anyways, I think the lighter brown looks better.

Yes, you are right, it's better with a lighter brown :)

But we won't put any MLKJ logos live. :( Maybe for next year, we should found another idea.

Oh! and for the transparent background, I would advice you to save your image as a *.png file. Sometimes it's a bit complicate to use a transparent background in *.gif files.
