Is trying to have maps trying to do too much and just walking down the same path as GOOG and Bing? I know most people have become conditioned to expect everything from a search engine, but maybe DDG's appeal is that it can do the search engine better than others. It seems to do that, its focus should be very limited. Looking for a map? Have DDG point the user to a website that has maps - Google Maps, Mapquest, etc. and that's it, done. I think part of Google's huge failing is that it tries to be and do too much. And with no way to compete with those kinds of pockets, why not just do one thing very well and forget about so much of the extras?
