yeah, sorry about that. typing "put search terms here" and either clicking or hitting enter causes the text to become gray and then is removed if clicked.
if you continue typing, you can add more letters or erase and it will remain gray (though you can search at this point). i understand the reason for this happening (due to it being the initial text).

i doubt many users will come across this, but i thought it might be worth mentioning.
