I've thought about this and had something somewhat similar (links to sites if you typed in a domain name), but it wasn't really what most people wanted.

A huge number of people type web addresses into search engines, confusing the engine with the browser. Perhaps DDG could detect www or the TLD and ask "Do you want to go directly to blah.com?" And perhaps a link saying "Learn how to do this in your browser - it's easy" leading to an informative page. No other search engine would do this, it would cost them in revenue if they educated folk.

could a mod please delete those posts? i believe that is a bot (link is spam).
