Thought I might need to create a new account, when I try to open a new account it says:
The username you have given is not valid! Don't try to log in with your email or your jabber address, just use the username before the '@'.

Next time it says:
The user dashesy exists already.

But "forgot Password" says:
Unknown Combination of username and email

I am sure both are correct!

Thanks for the reply, I disabled ABP and restarted firefox.
Still when trying to log on to this very forum, the log-in shows and disappears very fast without asking for username/password! It was working the day before, with the exact same browser and add-ons. I guess it goes through Zoho.

Actually I was trying to report some odd search result here(that search term somehow returns a Thai Cafe I did not know why), but I would also like to sign up for the community platform.
I can do some translation (to Persian), plus I want to get involved in the community (I am a professional programmer working in US).

Yesterday I introduced some of the cool DDG features to my wife, she installed it on the search bar and likes the !g, !w and \ features a lot.

Ok I found the problem :)

I had to clear my cookies, apparently after the community platform was launched my old cookie was giving me trouble!

Can I use the same username and sign up for the community platform? I tried signing up there and still cannot do that!

Yes apparently the error message was bogus, sign-in to the community platform worked fine, thanks
