This is a known bug. These boxes will be getting re-designed somewhat in the next few months, so I'm hesitant to do drastic re-writes atm.

If there is a quick fix, I'm all for it, but I couldn't find one. The issue is the image is floated so text moves around it.

can't you just do a check for where the right side of the picture is on screen and start the floated box so many pixels to the right?

It is written into the HTML/CSS as the page prints.

I was also having such thoughts until I tried jQuery. It's really amazing.

And it should be very easy to do such thing with jQuery:
