DuckDuckGo is cute but it's long, it doesn't have any reasoning for the name, and is, at least for me, somewhat difficult to recall correctly (I regularly type DuckDuckGoose, DuckDuckGood, & DuckDuckGO!). I suggest changing the name to Quack. Quack is short, simple, easy to remember, sticks with the existing DuckDuckGo theme, and has some reason behind the name. That reason being a quack is "apersonwhopretends, professionallyorpublicly,to possess skill, knowledge, orqualifications that they don't actually have". This is usually in reference to, but not limited to, phony medical practice. This definition relates to internet search engines because, although the DuckDuckGo's neat zero-click links make it look like the engine is providing results, it's not. It's just organizing the data aggregated from other sites' resources. Therefore the DuckDuckGo search engine is a "quack", since it is giving the appearance it knows things that it actually does not (even if DDG never makes that claim). Also, a little duck quack could be played when users hit search on the homepage :D
By the way, I do realize that AOL owns the quack.com domain name and is currently using it for an iPad search app, but I'm betting it'll be a quick bust and they'll give up on the name.
