Weekly Update 65: New Cheat Sheet Templates and Slack Chat Invites
First of all, props to Ettienne (@Sloff on Github) for converting all of our cheat sheets to use the new templates! We've added new templates to accommodate different cheat sheet styles so that your Wu-Tang cheat sheet can look different from your code cheat sheet.
If you haven't joined our Slack team yet, you can get an invite here. It's where we talk about the development of Instant Answers, and anyone can join in.
C Data Types Cheat Sheet
A cheat sheet for C types and sizes.
Know Your Meme
Display explanations for the most popular Internet memes.
Search for jQuery Plugins that people can use.
Indeed Jobs: Implement New Footer Design
We have a new datebadge property that you can use to standardize the display for dates.
Calculator: Switch Math::BigInt to use GMP
Our calculator Goodie should try to use the faster GMP implementation if available for faster computations.
Time: Add better triggers
The Time instant answer should trigger on "date", "what day is it", "what month is it", or "what year is it".
We need an experienced JS developer for this. Someone familiar with jQuery and Event handling. We'll post the design in the thread soon!
Factorial: Move implementation to Calculator.pm
This functionality should be part of the Calculator Goodie, and it needs to handle big integers.
Cheat Sheets: Need to encode angle brackets "<", ">" inside code blocks
Brackets aren't being encoded so they turn into DOM elements on the page.
Have a good weekend, everyone!
