Help us manage translations!
Thanks to those of you that have spread privacy and DuckDuckGo, our traffic has nearly doubled in the last couple weeks. Many of our new users are coming from areas outside the United States and, as part of our ongoing effort to provide multiple languages, we need your help.
More translations, more management
As our traffic grows, so do contributions to our Community Platform. Each time text is updated on one of DuckDuckGo's sites, it needs to be translated into multiple languages. When that happens, users vote, change, and submit alterations to various translation tokens (words), which then need to be compiled, processed, and related to other members of the DuckDuckGo team.
We're now calling for more token managers! If you'd like to volunteer to be a token manager, please send your community platform account name to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can get your account set up for token management. Please read our Translation documentation before you do so. If you don't get a reply in 2 days, please retry or contact us at: email@example.com
Please note, we're no longer accepting applications for translation managers at this time.
The ultimate goal is to keep a swift flow of people translating to those translations going live on our sites. To do that, though, we need more bodies helping to verify the translations and keep the conversations going among translators. It's okay if you don't know other languages, there's still plenty to do and we'd really appreciate any help you can give!
