I'm guessing that bases it's recommendations exclusively on the browser you're using. To do otherwise would be a much more involved project, of course, but it would be useful to some users if you stated this. If I'm wrong about this, then I would suggest you display the deficiencies you found so users know exactly which issues remain to be addressed. For example, I'm running HostsManager that mitigates a lot of these threats.

Another option that isn't mentioned is Tor. Although Tor can slow down your browsing, it's better than it was a year ago, and there isn't anything that I'm aware of that works better.

I don't mean to sound critical, though. I fully support the work you guys are doing, and I think you've got a great product here. Keep up the good work!

Sorry--not exactly sure what you mean. Were you referring to the browser settings portion mentioned above? Did you mean to show addons based on which addons were currently installed on that user's browser?
