I searched for "ebola news" and switched to the "News" tab. I think this tab should consist more of primary news sources. None of the results have The New York Times, which has a lot of coverage of the patient in NYC and overall a lot of international coverage. Several of the results are from Yahoo, which is just aggregating from AP, Reuters and other places. And there's a story from Fox News, which is a part of Fox's Entertainment division, not from their publishing/journalism (that one maybe should be replaced with WSJ? or not because of paywall?).
What about featuring stories from ProPublica? It's a non-profit newsroom.
And +1 on localizing (I'm mostly speaking for the US side of things...).
Also, how come if I type more than one word I don't get the "news" tab at all. If I type "Dell business news" it would be nice if the results were from business news sources (Bloomberg, Financial Times, Reuters, Forbes, etc.). And if I did "Dell tech news" I would get things from Verge, Engadget, TechCrunch, etc.
