Add-ons would apply only to browsers, in your case Safari.

If Safari can be started in safe mode (sorry, I'm not a Mac user) try that, just to eliminate any add-on conflict.

Also, have you tried testing from another browser on the same computer?

Actually I just tried anew and it now works correctly as before. Maybe a server problem ? Just don't know any reason.
