For Internet Explorer users, your browser's privacy setting for handling cookies in internet options is one thing that can aid in tracking avoidance by choosing 'block third-party cookies' by default.
Just open 'internet settings', open 'privacy' tab, then click 'advanced'-- check mark the box to 'override automatic cookie handling' & choose 'block under 3rd party cookies'. You can also choose to be prompted for even first party cookies so you can choose only important cookies that you want to keep. Remeber though, some websites' features or even homepage will not show up or work properly unless you accept the first party cookie.
