Hey everyone, it seems like we haven't yet determined the best API for this info? We already have a RottenTomatoes API Key and Movie Instant Answer, but I believe RT plans to deprecate many features of their API eventually so that it only provides their movie ratings.
Using TMDB would be great, but it's a little unfortunate that it requires two API calls, although I understand why that is. If the API is fast enough, it's OK to go that route, especially if their information is the best, or has lots of useful metadata (like pictures and descriptions)
The XKCD Spice is a great example of an IA that uses two API calls.
