Is Site.Com Up Not Working

I posted this before, but it didn't show up. Sorry if I'm causing any inconvenience.

Hi,

Is Site.com Up seems to be incorrect on all non-existing domains. For example, I tried "is hsljdg.com up", and it answered:

hsljdg.com seems up.
It took us seconds to get a response from hsljdg.com.

But if i go to http://hsljdg.com/, Firefox responds:

Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at hsljdg.com.

I've tried this on quite a few domains. A key feature of the incorrect response is this line:
It took us seconds to get a response from hsljdg.com.
Where as domains that are up have a response like this:
It took us 0.019 seconds to get a 200 response from 184.72.115.86.

Cheers,
MyUser

Try using the !isup bang, it seems to be working correctly.

Thanks, that is convenient.

However, it would be cool if you could fix the instant answer (I'd like the answer to be from DDG, not a different domain).

I'm thinking what's wrong is perhaps:
- The "print()" is printing the same for both, perhaps someone forgot to change the answer.
- Perl (or whatever language is used) is getting a non-null result saying something like "not found", thus response there but information on IP, response type and response time not given.

However, I don't program in Perl (more of a PHP/JS person myself).

Cheers

The IA seems to be working now, give it a try. Thanks!
