Links & Maps

Hello DDG-community, I have two short questions I couldn't find an answer for.

1. Here it says the DDG-map will open automatically when relevant. How can I access it manually? (There is no bang for that, only !osm , !gm , ... )

2. The links ("Images", "Videos", ...) are shifted to the right when the "About" feature is activated. This is annoying because by habit I click on the left link to see the image-list. Is there a way to disable the "About"-feature or shift it to the right?

1. Maps that are directly provided in DDG results are provided via an Instant Answer (IA) and not a !Bang, as you suggested. To help ensure that you receive a map IA, just include the word map in your search parameter. Example:

2. I just experimented with this and again, just using the work map forces the map and excludes the About feature.

Thanks for the advice. Would be good to emphasise the "map"-keyword on the corresponding feature-page ( ).

In regards to point 2, I meant that in terms of usability practice it would be good to have a consistent navigation ("Images", "Videos", "Maps") to which dynamic elements (eg "About" or "Meanings") are appended, not prepended.

Best Regards

I have some problems with the keyword map. Untill now it allways worked, but today i used it a couple of times without result. I was looking for san jose, burundi + map, and the IA map did not appear.
