Search & Stories Web Edition

I used to be able to see a feed from Lifehacker on the DDG homepage. While the Search & Stories app now quenches most of my need for information, a web edition with a similar feature set is missing.

There are at least two ways to handle user selection of desired sources:
1) Cookies...
2) Support a RESTful call to procure sources.
Example: http://duckduckgo.com/?stories=true&sources=wsj,economist,imgur

Duly noted! Thanks for the support :) We're still thinking of how we may do this if we brought the Stories feed to desktop. Previously, the feeds we offered on the homepage were from Twitter. They didn't get used very much (probably because they're behind the Settings) so we'd want Stories to be accessible but not in the way. Thoughts?

I think it needs to become a spice plugin on DDH. Once refined it could make it's way as a home page option!

Hey,
Big up of this post, I know.
Are you guys moving forward with this idea?
I'd also really like a desktop version of your stories thing. I use it a lot with my phone, but the screen is small and the internet slow. I'd love to get a webpage version, or a widget or whatever :)
(Or if you people know of an osx widget doing the same thing...)

There is also http://watrcoolr.us which derives its content from similar sources.
