The language switch does not work; always displays everything in my native language

As you can see in the second gif, the results are actually changing. In the first one they don't, maybe due to one of those cases where no more relevant results are available with the flag on or off.
The Wikipedia Instant Answer will always point to your laungage article if it's available, in any case.

Okay, this explain the non-changing instant answer.
However this does not explain the other non-existent language switch in the first gif. Here is one with a more popular search:

I think I solved it.

Here is the search with Tor:

And here is the one when selecting the correct language (in the advanced settings), but *not* the region:
[https://i.imgur.com/sp8FwV7.png]

So as it seems also the language selected affects the search results...
