DDG redirecting to lite version

Hello. My DDG has started going to the lite version for some reason. It has been happening for two days now. I have had DDG for a very long time and haven't changed anything on the computer lately. The link seems to still have the same info "https://duckduckgo.com/?kl=au-en&kad=en_...", but it goes straight to the lite version. Any help appreciated. Cheers, Greybird.

Thank you for the speedy response. I read through the other thread and tried the javascript tester and it says javascript is working on my computer. I didn't understand about the "hosts file", sorry I'm pretty old and un-techy, but I haven't made any changes or installed anything lately. I guess I could uninstall DDG and then put it back, but I'll give it a few days to see if anyone else reports the same thing. I'm on Windows7 (don't laugh I hate upgrading) with an up-to-date antivirus prog (F Secure) Cheers. Greybird.

Knowing that the javacript test passed is good information. We have received 1 other report of this and, based on the information that you've provided, I'm going to forward it to the Devs. This one could be tricky to isolate, so the fix may take awhile to be realized.

Hello again. Thanks for taking the time to look into this. My browser is IE10. I am relieved to know I am just being taken to the lite version as I was worried it was going somewhere other that DDG. A bit of a puzzle isn't it? Cheers Greybird.

Thanks for letting us know. There was an issue over the weekend with IE10 being incorrectly redirected to the lite version of the site. We pushed a fix earlier today, it should be all good now. Can you try again and let us know if you still have issues?
