Since a few days there's r.duckduckgo.com and it's very annoying. For example when you've installed the StackExchange app on your phone and search something on DuckDuckGo and click on a StackExchange result, the StackExchange app will open, but when you close the StackExchange app you'll go back to a blank screen of r.duckduckgo.com…

No need, because the default for those browsers is "On".

Are there any problem to that "Go through r.duckduckgo.com with a morden browser"?

No, but the meta referrer is more effective.

Some Chinese people use VPN to visit the blocked websites. Some people use some intelligent VPN. If they connected to the intelligent VPN and they will visit a website which is in China, the messages don't go through VPN.
If DDG search results are including Chinese results and some users connected to those VPN , is r.duckduckgo.com still effective?

How does DuckDuckGo find that "Can the browser run meta referrer"?

The last that I heard when discussing this with the Devs, there's no way to check for it dynamically, so it’s basically been testing various browsers with the redirect setting off to see if it breaks. Then if it passes testing it is added to a list of OK browsers and disable the setting.

In some situations(for example,DDG pages have not been fully loaded by a browser.Open in a new tab with a middle-click) , is meta referrer still effective?
