Hi, I've been using DDG for some time now and really like it. Just today I noticed that visited web pages no longer have a check mark next to them. Can you help?

If you have custom settings (themes, colors, etc.) the check mark will be replaced and visited web pages are represented by a changed title color.

No changes to themes, colors, etc. In fact if I resort back to google it still uses the default blue for un-visited and maroon for visited links in the search results page. Checkmark disappeared in the last few days.

I should add I have Firefox 50 on board.

Cool, thanks for the details. I just broke out my copy of FF, verified that it's current and ran a test search:

So, we need to figure out why you are getting different results. Here are some thoughts:

  • Look at the DDG URL in your address bar and verify that it is https://duckduckgo.com/... and not https://duckduckgo.com/html/...
  • Try testing using FF in Safe Mode, just in case an extension or plug-in is causing the issue
  • Finally, just for giggles, go to the DDG settings page and click on the Reset All Settings button.[\list]

Let us know what you find.
