Hi all,

Following the street marketing initiated by the Sticker Mule's website, I regularly blog and post about Duck Duck Go on my various blogs, like on this one :

What about you ? How do you promote DDG ?
Best regards,

Thank you all for the many comments, questions and suggestions. Particular thanks go to user x.15a2 for constantly monitoring, replying and helping so many users here. To continue these discussions, please head over to the DuckDuckGo subreddit.

I have posted the stickers on my cubicle, the ugly duck head brings questions every once in a while, and people in general do not like Google obtrusive new methods (instant, glass, ...). There are also few(!) people who care about the privacy and appreciate DDG for that. I always try to tell them to get used to the bangs, for once-in-a-time results that do not show up in DDG I suggest them !g bang, !w is also very helpful.
I let people know about DDG in the blogs if I stumble upon people who are not happy with Google, or Bing
I want to use one of the stickers with my car :)

My question; I use Mozilla Thunderbird email client. I would like to know if anyone has the way of automatically connecting a "promoting Duck Duck Go" promo link. Several years ago I did such a thing, & I do not recall how do duplicate such a feature, and Mozilla's support system is so huge & unmanageable I cannot even get them to reply to email support queries. I formerly was able to get great support from them. Mozilla began out of Illinois University I believe.

Thanks for promoting DDG. Here's an article on creating signature lines that should give the information that you are looking for:

as mozilla continues to scale back it appears that they also want to axe thunderbird

if you like thunderbird and want to use an actively maintained fork of it you may be interested in fossamail
it is developed by the same team as pale moon browser.

They don't want to terminate it, just leave it to other developers. Some rumors say that The Document Foundation might be interested and that would be great imho.

A DuckDuckGo channel on, that would be nice.
