Chromium integration with /shortcut

Hi,

On mac and linux ( and i guess win)  the  /shortcut trick, is ruined by the browser file integration.
 - It resolves to file:///shortcut

On safari, the search integration (which adds an new input)  does what i expect,  anyone haves an
idea how the mimic that with chromium ?

Can you explain a bit more?  I'm on Win, but I am not having any problems (not in Chromium either).

If you type / in the search box or search bar, it doesn't show up? Or the error after you hit enter?

It doesn't look like your're searching Duck Duck Go in that screen shot.

well no,  the browser intercepts search strings starting with /  (file system access)

!bangs works:

My cursor is right after the 'k' in book.  And i press enter:

After a short search on ddg, i am redirected to amazon.

Put this together with http://duck.co/topic/if-search-contains-nothing-but-bang-go-to-the-site-s-home-page and everything would be more consistent.

So you type "!foobarbaz" and it will go to the first result for "foobarbaz".

This already works with the bangs and if you put a space between the ! and the terms.
