Optimised search results page for iPhone?

It'd be great if the DDG search results page was optimised for iPhone (and iPad?) viewing.

This is really easy to do: you just put one meta tag containing viewport size information.

(You can also add one line of CSS that prevents iOS WebKit resizing text but that depends on what you're trying to achieve).

There's a lot of info on Apple's Safari Dev Centre website, but here are two articles that sum things up.

I'm happy to help if I can.

Cheers,
matt

Yeah, would love any help on this regard. I find it works on the iPad quite well as is, don't you?

As for iPhone, what in particular isn't working well for you? I have an iPod touch so can mess around with it. I'm happy to make some simple changes right now, and maybe big ones in the future, but am not sure exactly which to make.

Yes, iPad works just fine really.

On iPhone/iPod touch the initial text size is too small. So, maybe a meta tag with viewport width of 320 is enough to force it to not be reduced?

Quick service :)

I think I'd leave a little white space either side, but that's pretty much it.

Thanks!

Something has changed recently, as the display is now too wide for my iPhone in portrait orientation.
