Show Popularity of a Search Term

We all know Google has been known to show you that there are 10,000,000 results for a particular search term. DuckDuckGo does not do this.  This is what gets me to go back to Google. I sometimes wonder if a search term or grouping of words is more popular if it is said one way or the other.

For instance, I like to know if more people say, "Going to the beach" or "Hanging out at the beach"

So, according to the Internet, "Hanging out at the beach" is more popular than "Going to the beach"

Is this correct?

What do you think of this, is there a way to see which is more popular!?

This is one of the UI elements I decided to cut out because I thought the clutter/usefulness trade-off was more on the clutter side. I agree it is useful in some cases though.
