Verbatim search

A consistent frustration I've been having with DuckDuckGo is having the engine apparently decide that my obscure searches are typos, and throw completely irrelevant results at me rather than . I feel that a verbatim search mode would be of great value, and more so if it was the default mode or a saved setting.

Are you able to perform the search with quotations to return exact-match results?

Using quotation marks is the first thing I tried, of course, with mixed results. Your first link offers a solid explanation of the issue and what is being done about it; thank you.

It's not a few autocorrect bugs, to quote https://duck.co/help/results/autocorrect.

Just give us programmers, chemistry students, linguists, mathematicians, vets, engineers
some default entry point for uncensored 100% verbatim results, e.g. ireceivedformaleducation.duckduckgo.com.

I have the same issue as the OP. I'm here. I type 'verbatim' in the search filed... I got No search results! Seriously, no verbatim search option? That's pretty bad!
