Unusual Character Rendering in Search Result

Okay, this is odd.

I was looking for information on "草泥马挡中央" (Chinese homophonic pun used to protest government censorship because it sounds like "f your mother"), and the characters rendered in gibberish with a DuckDuckGo search.
When I searched for other things with Chinese characters this did not happen.

Is this just me...?

Me too!
It's definitely happening in searching for Not-Formal words in 2 byte characters.
In Japanese, a formal word "艦隊" is OK but, an abbreviation "艦これ" the name of JP popular game is Bad...Characters rendered in gibberish (but URLs which shown as results are probably good)[http://i.imgur.com/NApBGNz.png]
