DDG doesn't work with referer spoofing

Setting on Firefox about:config the value "network.http.referer.spoofSource" to "true", DDG results page hangs on infinite loading, without showing any result. That value is for spoofing the referer field in the header, it replaces the true one with the destination address.

Thanks for reporting this.

We have confirmed this is an issue and it should be fixed in the next release. Unfortunately I cannot give you a time frame for that, or suggest a workaround in the mean time.

Sorry to bother you but, any update on this? Do you think it will be a complex task to solve?

Are you still experiencing this? I am unable to replicate on the Firefox Developer Edition. Perhaps that has something about to be released in the regular channel?

Yes, still experiencing it on FF 35.0.1. It does an infinite loading while connecting to rundmc.duckduckgo.com .
To be more clear, in about:config the values "network.http.sendSecureXSiteReferrer" and "network.http.sendRefererHeader" are set to default values.
