"OR" operator

I guess this question is somehow related to the one I asked several months ago

The "OR" operator still seems to mess up things.

certina diver site:uhrforum.de

returns more results than:

certina diver OR taucheruhr site:uhrforum.de

The help file (https://duck.co/help/results/syntax) still simply states:
"If you want to do one term or another use the uppercase keyword OR in
between the terms. OR will only operate on the surrounding words so foo bar
OR baz is equivalent to foo (bar OR baz)."

Kind Regards

site: queries use a smaller database and makes this a bit screwy. We'll look into why it's not working--the syntax you'd be aiming for is:

but that doesn't seem to be working correctly.

Thanks for your reply.
Dunno if that matters, but site: queries were used in both instances of my exemplary search patterns, so I'm not sure whether the size of the database really does matter.

Thanks for clarifying--ya it just adds a small variable to the whole mix. I.e. the same OR logic without site: parameters gets a bit fuzzy when you add in the site: parameters. We just need to figure out why! :)
