Account to store settings in

It might be not that secure, but what about an account, where settings for DDG are stored in?

There's always been a sort of long-term plan to save settings to your account here on the community platform, but it doesn't seem that relevant. Why do you want this? Cloud save lets you share settings between browsers/devices, and an account would not help if you clear cookies. I don't see the benefit.

Thanks for letting me know.

For me it is a bit easier to have settings stored in an account, since they are save there and cannot get deleted, like a cookie.

I am trying cloud save for now. I hesitated to use it since the passphrase is displayed in plain text and not like a normal password.
