Firefox: Nothing happens when clicking on "Image | Video | Definition" or Settings

Hi! I'm very new to the "Next" version of DuckDuckGo, and I have a problem with it.

When I click the "Image | Video | Definition" links or the settings icon on the right side, nothing happens in Firefox. It all works normally in IE11, but I certainly don't want to use IE for the web. What could be the reason for this behaviour of FF? And it even happens in Safe Mode with all add-ons disabled. I have the same behaviour in FF 29 and in Nightly 32.

This issue was reported in a couple of other environments (Linux\Midori and Windows7\Chrome) but not in Windows\FF. I just tested using FF29 on Windows7, no problem at all. Also, a new update to correct the issue that I referred to above was pushed yesterday, have you tried recently (when you page is loaded, try Ctlr-F5 to flush the cache for that page, see if that helps).

In addition to my previous answer, this is still an issue with Ubuntu (Xubuntu 14.04) and Midori 0.4.3 (no extensions).

I've tested Windows7 with Chrome (SRWare Iron) Version 34.0.1850.0 (270000) and had not problems.

To clarify, on mouse-over the items appear as links, but when clicked there is no response.

To all, we'd really like to get to the bottom of this ASAP.

To anyone who knows about error consoles, is there any error in the Firefox error console when you click on these links?

Also, are these by chance touch laptops?

I have Console\Debugger for Ubuntu\Midori, what specific information can I gather for you.

Also, this is not a touchscreen system.

Well, Midori is completely unstable for me, Inspect Element crashes. I'll provide detail regarding the non-responsive links if\when I'm able to.

First, yes, mine is a touch laptop (Dell XPS L702x).

And there is no response at all in the browser console when I click any of these links - the browser console just stays empty.

When I reload (CTRL F5) the results page, this is what I get in the browser console:

Code:
Use of getUserData() or setUserData() is deprecated. Use WeakMap or element.dataset instead. requestNotifier.js:64
ScrollbarSearchHighlighter: re-highlighting later (domContentLoaded)
ScrollbarSearchHighlighter: re-highlighting later (domContentLoaded)
"2014-05-09 13:16:21 ERROR: set_icon_err: " "browserAction not inited" zerr.js:213
ScrollbarSearchHighlighter: rehighlight called
Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Use defaultPrevented instead. d1547.js:26

I don't know if that helps.

Glenn1963
Pale Moon 24.5.0 X64 on Win 8.1 X64

The options at the bottom - Use in Pale Moon, Set as Homepage, Learn More - work as expected.

Main Menu (⇶) appears to do nothing. When I click on it, Firebug takes me to function(dk,co), in d1547.js (line 26), but continuing the debug does nothing.

I just tried it with a brand new FF profile - it does not work. (FF 29 on Windows 8.1)

I think the issue still persists. I have this behavior on Ubuntu 14.04/Firefox 29 x64

See attached screenshot.
