Can a screenshot of the main page and the logo be released under a Creative Commons license?
Most websites are non-free, which means that a screenshot of their page cannot be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, which in turn implies that the picture cannot be used across all Wikipedias. See:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Facebook_Login_Screen.jpg
Sure, the English Wikipedia allows fair use for files that are uploaded locally, but other Wikipedias such as those in Spanish, Swedish, Polish, Danish, etc. can only use files from Commons, which requires that all of its files be released under a free license.
What is DuckDuckGo's stance on this? What I'm really hoping is that DuckDuckGo licenses its main page and logo under a Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 3.0 Unported License (CC-BY-SA), GFDL, MIT License, or any other free license that would allow people to use the files on all Wikipedias without any fuss.
Both the logo and a screenshot of the main page are currently on Commons, but we need to provide evidence that DuckDuckGo approves of their presence there and agrees to release them under a free license.
