Do DuckDuckGo Ads track me?

I disabled DuckDuckGo from showing ads in search because I'm a bit concerned, are the ads "tailored to you" like Google? by displaying ads in search does that mean that my search is no longer private and those ads will profile me like the way Google builds ads around you?

No. DDG does no tracking, including the ads. Ads that appear in DDG are specific to the immediate search that you have entered, then your search input is discarded. Unlike other search providers that keep a long log of your searches and provide ads tailored to your entire search history. DDG's ads are safe and non-tracking. You are free to disable them but enabling them does provide a small revenue stream for DDG.

thanks

I can't seem to find the built-in setting on the settings page that allows one to disable ads.
(I don't want to disable them, but, I think you should update the following page : "https://duck.co/help/settings/adblockers", because I can't find the disable ads option)

Thank you. It's like one of those times a kid cant find a piece of clothing, and then goes ask mom where it is, mom says its in the drawer but he says it is not there. Then the mom goes and opens the drawer and its right there, ahahahaha.
