Right click in DDG

Hi I just want to know why DDG is using the same method google uses in righ click to copy -paste a result like this.

I just want to right click copy and paste a normal url not a long one.

Could you let us know which OS and browser you are using? You should be able to copy and paste links no problem - you should get the original link.

There is an interstitial page used so HTTP Referer information containing your search term is not sent to the site you click, but this shouldn't effect the copying of links.

Sure, I just want a clean link.

I'm using firefox 30.0.1 in Arch Linux. (x64).

I'm doing same test in midori and I can see a clean url so the problem is firefox web browser?

Confirming that with Firefox 30 on Arch Linux a right click "Copy link location" on a DDG search result copies the interstitial URL. Like this for example:
