Mystery Pink Bar appearing on my DuckDuckGo Homepage

On my DuckDuckGo homepage...There is a strange PINK BAR as long as, and about the same height as the Search Field box. It appears to have no purpose, as mousing it does nothing. It is located below the text "The Search Engine That Doesn't Track You. What's New!" and above the 3 buttons (ie: Set As Homepage). This bar does not appear on my work computer DDG homepage, just my home laptop which is loaded with IE 9 and Vista.

Has anyone else seen this and can anyone please explain?

I just tried with IE9, could not replicate it. Can you provide a screenshot?

Sounds like the #error_homepage element is being displayed. It should be set to display:none with css by default. You may have some user styles that are overriding this, but I can't speak as to why.
