DuckDuckGo - virus, malware, browser hijacker. I found tons of these. Why so many people had problems with DDG? What is DDG's reply?

I wanted to know something about DDG and on one search accidentaly I found lots of stuff like that:
http://howtovirusremoval.com/tag/duckduc...
http://blog.yoocare.com/duckduckgo-com-r...
http://instantspywareremoval.blogspot.co...

I never had problems with that. Why so many people had this? Do you run applications that add DDG to people's browsers without their will?

No, DDG never installs software without the user's request and approval. Check the WOT ratings of each of those sites.

It appeared after I wanted to know more about DDG's redirect option and there was a lot of this. I guess someone' takes a lot of effort to ruin DDG's name.

I am also facing other issues such as slow PC behavior, BSOD error and others. I have read this post for solution.
