Better Wikipedia answers (international)

The instant wikipedia answer function is great, if you're from an English speaking country that is. If you're from the Netherlands (Dutch), Germany (German) or a French speaking country you're left out in the cold.

I'm not a programmer, but I think this is easy to fix. Duckduckgo already recognizes the country you are from (my frontpage is Dutch) so it should be able to use a preset to only give nl.wikipedia.org articles instead of en.wikipedia.org or a bit tougher give en.wiki when there are no nl.wiki articles available.

I might be wrong, but it seems as a ten minute job that will give duckduckgo a whole lot of international appeal.

Again, I'm no programmer so I can only pitch the idea unfortunatly.

This could be an internal improvement to the current wikipedia integration but we can leave this open for anyone to pick up.

Can you please suggest were to look for current wikipedia instant answer source code ? I would try to implement this improvement, but it seems unreasonable to roll out separate instant answer.

Good suggestion, this has been bothering me for a while. Can I add a feature request for 'bang searches'? I like the "!wiki keyword" search and it can even search on the English Wikipedia but could we add !wikinl and !wikide (or whatever language ISO code) shortcuts to DuckDuckGo?
