If anyone can find a source that can provide up-to-the minute stock quotes complete w/ graphs and other financial information, that would be a cool way to supplement our current stock integration w/ wolframalpha. It would be nice to have several graphs along with the quote that can be switched between w/ a button click, e.g. 1yr, 1mo, 1wk.

We've just submitted a global stocks Instant Answer. See: https://duck.co/ia/view/stocks_internati...

Hope that's an improvement on the US only service from Xignite.

I would recommend https://www.tradingview.com/widget/ for the charts

Seems like http://dev.markitondemand.com/, Highcharts JS, (although it is quite large and they do charge a fee), AMcharts, Kraken, and Fusioncharts are the frontrunners on DuckDuckHack. We'll update this thread when they are more suggestions, though this should be enough to set the project in motion.

Just created the Github repo for this https://github.com/javathunderman/fuzzy-.... Let me know if that needs any tweaking or whether I should transfer ownership to DuckDuckGo's account.

You should be working with a fork of the duckduckgo/zeroclickinfo-spice repo -- everything happens in there at the moment.

Does YCharts provide charts through their API?

A 5D/1M/3M/YTD chart will be great and an intra-day chart will be awesome (although I suspect their intra-day data is probably delayed by 15min at least).

I've been talking to Nasdaq about integrating realtime data on our website. The licensing fee alone is $624,000 a year. And then you have to pay a data vendor to get the feed. In contrast delayed data is only $250 a month. Plus a data feed.

It is possible to parse from Google Finance or YQL the data, but it's against the terms of service of both Yahoo! and Google and a breach of Nasdaq's IP.

Though, with Xignite and Nasdaq not visible on "Stock" seems that the issue is partially resolved, at least for US stocks!

BUT, what about International stocks?
