You could search "0644 linux permissions" and get the following:
0644
rw-r--r--
User: read, write
Group: read
Other: read

These are also called "(octal) Unix permissions". It might be useful to also give a translation into symbolic permissions, e.g. "chmod 755 == chmod a=rx,u+w".
