Add an "advanced search" with some parameters like
"Exclude bad WOT notation"
"Exclude ads"
"Add commercial sites"
"Search in information sites only"

and so on.

This isn't so much of a plugin ideas as it is a feature request (which has been duly noted). We're going to close this thread but wanted to point out some options for your suggestions:

Advanced Search syntax can be found here: http://help.duckduckgo.com/customer/port...

You can enable/disable WOT ratings in the Settings menu: https://duckduckgo.com/settings.html (under Result tab)

You can enable/disable sponsored links in the Settings menu: https://duckduckgo.com/settings.html (under Layout tab)

You can do an in-site search using the syntax: site:example.com testing testing <<--which would search on "example.com" for "testing testing"
