I wonder why Duckduckgo.com has a Drake as the symbol? Just like Donald Duck, it is kinda weird don't you think because a Duck is a female and a Drake is a male. Also why does Donald not wear pants but when he finish his shower, he is wearing a towel?

My suggestion is, why not make the male into a female or put a male and a female in the symbol with a love symbol or something like that?

I don't like these kind of symbolism to be honnest.

Just a thought and I support you guys, peace!

Additionally, duck is the common name for a large number of species in the Anatidae family of birds, which also includes swans and geese. A male duck is called a drake and the female duck is called a duck, or in ornithology a hen, so "duck" is both gender specific and non-gender specific. Our us of the term "duck" is correct.
