PNR means Passenger Name Record in Indian Railways. It is sort of ticket id which tells you whether your ticket is confirmed, you are alloted full seat or half seat etc. Lots of people go to Indian Railways website to check their PNR status. It would be cool if this could be directly conveyed to user.

Hi Rishi!

What's the status? Has this been developed? Correct me, if I got this wrong.

- User enters his/her PNR on DDG.
- Gets instant search on his/her display with the status of PNR without going to any external link.

There are are a few Api's which are available for free

1) http://trak.in/tags/business/2014/09/26/...
2) http://www.railwayapi.com/pricing/
3) http://pnrapi.dfth.in/

PS: I am interested to try and core for this API. Can you point out steps for that?

I have started working this week. Will take some time to learn the engines itself.

I have came across http://www.pnrstatusbuzz.in/ which is using some kind of Railway API and it's full functional. It would be really helpful if anyone can guide me in this regard.

Yes this looks like a paid API which is a problem. Are there any free API's which provide this data?
