I think when you search (for example) "Los Angeles Ca" or something like it it should give city information.. Population / etc.

you are right, this IA is already live, however its behaviour is not so user-friendly. I think the state could be omitted. So, if I search "Los Angeles" I should see the same results than "Los Angeles CA"! This sometimes works, e.g. for "paris" or "timbouctou" there is no need for state.
Second problem, there is no support for i18n. I am Italian, and our capital is Roma. The IA works only if I search "Rome Italy" and not if I search "Roma" nor "Roma Italia" nor "Roma it".
